Stainless steel mesh pipe screens
0.625 (5/8 inches) uncoated steel pipe screens fit your smaller hand pipes. Stock up here instead of stealing them from the sinks (sinks use fiberglass now).
These .625 steel screens fit many vaporizer whips back in the day but who still uses one though? Also a good fit for ~10mm to 1/2 inch diameter bowls.

Much better then brass. Stays in place better also because they are stiffer than brass. They are a 'must have' and the price is reasonable.
