International Orders

To get an estimate for the shipping costs to your country please add the items into the shopping cart and click Add Info next to Shipping: when Viewing Cart.

Select your country from the drop down menu. Enter in the shipping postal code and click on the "Estimate Shipping" button to view the shipping methods and rates available. This is located below your sub total, on the right hand side of the cart.

While this rate is generally correct, it is just an estimate. We will evaluate each and every order and find the best rate and shipping method available based on the size of your items, the weight and the destination. You will always be notified of any changes needed before we process your order.

Apologize in advance for any shock if this is your first time checking rates. International shipping from the USA is not exactly cheap.

This depends on the products ordered, the destination of those products and the total value of the order. We'll review your order and get in touch before charging your card so you can decide if you want to move forward with the order. Please watch email after your order is placed. Anything sensitive is not to be emailed back though.

After 27+ years we can say our international shipping performance is pretty pretty good because we take these extra steps to verify and process each order. Destination country and items ordered are always unique so we adjust accordingly.

While we do everything possible to minimize the amount, you are responsible for your own customs and duties. If you pay a VAT in your country expect to pay a VAT when receiving (or GST/PST). Many countries have allowances up to a certain amount where there are no duties. Generally between $75 and $120 depending on the country. Google will tell you this info for your specific country.

There may also be brokerage fees charged by the carrier but we have negotiated much lower ones for most services to most countries. Both UPS & USPS are usually between $0 and $6; depending on the service level and the destination.

Legally imported rolling papers are taxed at a much higher rate in the US versus other countries. That tax plus the shipping costs from (mostly) Spain mean we will always pay a much higher price than Europe. Considering these price differences, some rolling papers made for the USA will sometimes have higher quality packaging while some styles and accessories are unique to us.

As a US based business we price and charge all orders in US Dollars (USD). Your credit card will automatically convert this to your local currency at their current exchange rate.

If you are unsure of how much the total is in your currency you should check out an online currency converter in advance of submitting your order. The actual price will always vary slightly depending on your card processor and the exchange rate at the exact moment that your order is placed. Needless to say, we have no control over international exchange rates.

We do not ship to countries where the mail service is unreliable. We do not ship to countries where the duties are exceedingly high or packages frequently get "lost" in customs. We definitely do not ship to countries where the products are prohibited or restricted. If we ship there it is because we have shipped there before successfully. If we do not it is because it's probably not possible. In that case why not visit NYC and pick up your order instead :-)
