Much better than metal. Way better than aluminum. No extra taste. The only problem is that it can snap if you drop it on concrete, so buy spares.

"It is a great replacement to my aluminum bat. Fits perfectly in my wooden dug out. It does not get as clogged as the aluminum bat,but beware the last hit! Easy clear out causes it to poop the whole bowl in your mouth ever now and again."
