With the double-vortex ricocheting effect, smoke leaves the Jack Herer pipe at a much lower temperature than a regular pipe. Due to the design of the bowl, and the fact that air circulates below the bowl freely, the burning temperature in the bowl is very high, meaning a complete burn. You can see the whitish color of the ash (like on the tip of a cigar) which shows you that the tobacco is burning completely without leaving a blackish residue.
Each Jack Herer pipe is handcrafted and therefore completely unique. Will definitely vary from picture but you can specify darker or lighter hardwoods if you have a preference. This compact version of the famous pipe generally measures around 4" long and 2" high and comes in a hemp canvas pouch. Jack's autograph is burned into the bottom of every pipe.

Best pipe ever.
Best pipe ever. I bought the original Jack Herer pipe when he first released it. I bought both because he only made 2 at the time Cola bola and Honduran Rosewood. I still have and love them. When I saw there now was a smaller version I had to have it.

Great pipe
Beautiful looking pipe that does a great job of cooling the smoke. The lid allows you to snuff the fire and easily resume later. Nice pouch and packing tool come with it as well.

"You won't have any trouble appreciating one of these pipes. It immediately became my favorite smoking method. My only criticism is that it's really hard on screens. I was burning one through every bowl. I then installed a new screen on top of a holed screen instead of removing the damaged one. That seems to have cured the issue. Even with the screen issue,I have no problem giving this pipe five stars."
