The Jack Herer Pipe: A Legacy

Handcrafted Excellence: The Jack Herer Pipe is back, but keep in mind, quantities may still be limited. Each Jack Herer pipe is and always will be handmade with love and care in America. The hemp canvas pouch is even made here in NYC.

Unique and Beautiful Designs: The latest production features a choice of Cherry over Black Walnut wood, with designs and colors similar to the photos. Each pipe is unique due to the handmade process, but rest assured, you no longer have to call and ask what color options are available. More beautiful wood combinations may be released in the future.

Optimal Burn for Complete Combustion: The unique bowl design allows air to circulate freely, ensuring a high burning temperature for a complete burn. The whitish ash, similar to the tip of a cigar, signifies thorough combustion without leaving a blackish residue.

Cool Smoke for a Smooth Experience: Thanks to the double-vortex ricocheting effect, smoke leaves the Jack Herer Pipe at a much lower temperature than a regular pipe, providing a smooth and enjoyable smoking experience.

Genuine Craftsmanship: Each large Jack Herer Pipe is handcrafted and may vary slightly from the picture. Generally, your pipe will measure around 5 inches long and 2 inches high. Every pipe features Jack Herer's genuine autograph burned into the bottom, guaranteeing authenticity.

Complete Package: This amazing wood pipe comes with classic instructions written by Jack himself, printed on hemp paper along with bonus accessories including steel screens, an Allen key, and a pipe cleaner. All that zipped up in the hemp canvas pouch for storage and easy transport.

Please note that the wood tamper is no longer an included accessory due to the complexity and cost of making it in America. Most customers reported not using it, but we are looking at manufacturing a tamper separately for a fair price. Traditionalists, do not despair. Just let us know if you're interested.

Experience the legacy of ingenuity with American craftsmanship.

    Genius!

Posted by Todd on Aug 30, 2010

"I bought this despite my doubts that it was everything people say it is. I'm glad I did, because everyone is spot-on: this is one of the best pipes you'll ever use. A single bowl goes a long way,and by the time you're done your smoke has turned to white ash. I also love not having to relight the pipe. It's pretty easy to use, too. The only thing that takes practice is packing the bowl, since it can be tough to pack the outside edges of the bowl tight enough for a total burn without having to relight."

The Best Pipe You Can Buy

Posted by Firechaser on Jul 16, 2010

"Ok. I'm a fossil but that gives me the age on my tail to judge from a vast ocean of experience. This is the best pipe I have ever used......period. I am a clean freak so wood was a little......questionable. Glass ruled my life. Well it isn't about glass or wood it is about the function of the JH Pipe.<br><br>This design is simple but so special. It smokes cool; fresh and expands in the pipe....not you. Some might complain about the cost but this pipes construction warrants the price. Once you try it you won't be disappointed. Thanks Jack"

"As a long time fan of Jack Herer,I was aware of his innovative pipe design. When I saw the video of Jack demonstrating proper loading and lighting of this wooden miracle,I decided to order one for myself.<br><br>It may be a bit pricey, but after loading and smoking it one time I realized that it's the most efficient smoking device I've ever used. It worked exactly as advertised and is now a cherished item in my collection. Honestly I don't think I'll need to ever get another pipe as it's simple but elegant design makes it really easy to use.<br><br>Thanks to the folks at 1 percent for getting it delivered to me promptly even though I ordered on a holiday weekend. Ya'll rock!"

    Best Pipe Period!!

Posted by Peter on Jul 31, 2009

"Beautifully hand carved and finished, this pipe smokes like no other. Every hit tastes like the first. For best results,go to youtube to watch the proper loading method. If packed correctly, ever bit of your smoking material is evenly burned. When the pipe is finished (10-15 hits) the white ash taps out and looks like a cigar ash."

"I had an idea to purchase a pipe for the main man in my life on his birthday about a year ago. He had mentioned a stolen Jack Herer pipe earlier in the relationship so I thought, what better gift than a replacement. Considering his satisfaction with the first one I chose the same,5 inch double venturi system, that my taste buds were now craving after reading about it.<br><br>Considering you can not buy these in stores, the search was actually easier than I thought. I contacted Jack himself and within minutes he replied with the one and only 1 percent. In less than an hour my one of a kind hand crafted piece was on its way to make my boyfriends birthday a success. <br><br>I am very happy to say that I was not disappointed with my purchase....and neither was he. Your product of choice will taste fresh with every hit and the cleanup is practically nothing aside from a few pipe cleaners running through it every once in a while. <br><br>I got on today to purchase myself one and thought, why not share this product with others who may be searching for a new addition to their collection. And to all of you: This pipe will last you a lifetime! Cheaper than buying new glass every time they break, and the sweet taste is unforgettable. "

    Great pipe!

Posted by Dissident on Jul 06, 2009

"I will say that I was a bit skeptical before purchasing this item,as the marketing behind this pipe is quite ""gimmicky"". The idea was that I wanted a nice quality combustion piece which would also be economical with my product of choice. Being that this was a candidate for my first pipe and also a bit pricey,I decided to do some homework before making the purchase. The general consensus of those that have tried or own this product seems to be that it provides a quality smoking experience. Many smokers seem to dislike the fact that it is made out of wood and swear that no piece is worth purchasing unless it is made from glass. <br><br>I went ahead with this purchase and I must say that I am not disappointed. The packaging is on the simple side. If I remember correctly everything was placed inside a zip lock bag. The contents included were the pipe, the packing tool,a small hex wrench (Used for tightening the cap should it become loose over time),some spare screens, and a printout with the instructions. The pipe was a beautiful piece that used three different shades of wood. I am a bit of a minimalist so I liked the simple design. <br><br>The first time I smoked this pipe I was sure to pack it in accordance with the directions. Do not let those videos online fool you into thinking this is a difficult process. The basic idea is that you take dry ground smoking material and pack like 6-7 small layers into the bowl. This makes it so that you usually have enough time to pass the pipe to a buddy without having to re-light it. Also every hit is a ""green"" fresh tasting hit. I can vouch for both of these things. During the bulk of the session this pipe rarely ever has to be re-lit and every hit is fresh tasting, especially when compared to other ""spoon"" style pipes. The smoke is about as cool as it can get from a pipe. However if you smoke several bowls in quick succession,it will begin to heat up on bowl three. Many people like to ask how many ""hits"" this pipe will give you per bowl. Well to be honest I cannot accurately gauge this because I never measure how much product actually gets packed in there. I always do it by eye so I am never really sure. I would like to say 15-20? (I never count) <br><br>Now I must say...I definitely like what wood brings to the smoking experience. I'm really not sure how this whole glass mania got started, because in my opinion I think wood and smoking goes hand in hand. I like the subtle ""woody"" notes this pipe adds to the smoking session. You also do not need to worry as much about dropping your pipe. It is in my opinion that glass pieces are destined to break, the Jack Herer pipe is a pipe that will probably last you forever if it is taken care of. <br><br>The smoking experience is slightly diminished with use as the tar and resin builds up over time. I have neglected taking care of this pipe since purchasing and I really should start cleaning it. Supposedly all it takes is some pipe cleaners after a smoking session and cleaning is supposed to be fairly easy. <br>"
